Meet Our Beverage Director, David Lovett
David Lovett is a dedicated hospitality professional who personifies himself through his love of the beverage and his passion for the industry. At seventeen years old, the Philadelphia native fell in love with hospitality, becoming deeper and deeper entranced with each shake and stir. His introduction to the beverage world started under the tutelage of David Bouchard and David Ortiz, during competitions from Miami to Orlando. This was where Lovett fell in love with the romance behind the cocktail, understanding what makes each one special and unique.
Most recently, Lovett dedicated his rise in top restaurants along the east coast of Florida, where he held high-level beverage positions at 1000 NORTH, THE LOVE STREET PROJECT where Stephen Aspirinio took Lovett under his wing and taught him the detail and precision needed to execute a top-notch beverage program. Most recently, Lovett ran the beverage program for The Kyle G’s Group where leadership, cost analysis, and opening new beverage programs were his focus.
As the Beverage Director for True Grit Hospitality, Lovett aims to create a Beverage program that changes the way hospitality is served through the beverage. He Promises to bring a BADASS approach to all the True Grit concepts.
